Dragonfear Permissions Post

Dragonfear is when a dragon approaches someone and they feel incredible, gut-wrenching fear in the dragon's presence. In Aurican's case, the dragonfear he has only affects evil people, or those who aren't used to his presence. People who are in the actual good alignment, or even classified as a Lawful Good type, are more than likely not to be ( Read more... )

Juudai probably shouldn't be affected (he fucks up a lot BUT HE'S A GOOD KID ON THE INSIDE ;;) due to general good-guy-ness and also due to kind of being soul-fused to a spirit who sometimes turns into a dragon (oh GX), but I'll probably write in some serious 8O and nervousness the first couple times anyway.

Yeah, it takes a while to get used to Aurican. It took him a while for a bunch of elves to not to run away from them when he tried to befriend them.

Matt's pretty neutral, but he can turn into a dragon, so I sort of think it would balance out to being a bit freaked out and nervous.

Out of curiosity, does it only work in person, or over the Hitomi too?

I seem to remember that any powers at all over the Hitomi doesn't work, so I'll take it as a no.

I'm not sure whether it would affect Elfangor or not. He's Chaotic Good, but more Chaotic than Good. :/a I... don't think he would be affected, though.

How so? Like I said previously, people who are not used to Aurican's presense are going to feel it. I'm certain once he and Elfangor mingle often, it won't be as prominent.

I wasn't sure, because of what you said about alignment, and that it wasn't clear if this was an either/or situation regarding alignment and being used to his presence. But if that would work better for you, I'm cool with that.

As we discussed on plunk, we can say because of his distinct lack of fear, it might not affect him as much.

I honestly have no clue to where Mayuri falls in this good/bad thing. He's on the good side but it's debatable as he's...not a good person. So, I guess I'll just roll with the whole fear thing.

Mind you, Mayuri and fear are well acquainted and he doesn't deal it it like most. The more fearsome/deadly/whatever he's more interested in it.

Yeah, the good/evil thing is really baffling because there's a lot of shades of grey we're talking about.

Since dragonfear is basically an overwhelming feeling of "OH SHIT", we can say that he will feel something like "what is this I don't even".
