After class today I went back to my room to drop off my umbrella and books/notebooks, then I went to Shibuya and just wandered around there for a while. I played a round of DDR in an arcade (and didn't fail on standard, suprisingly) and went to the top floor of Tower Records, where they have imported books. So also, I found out today that I'll be going home just shortly before a big 3-day beach gathering of Keio students and exchange students that's going to be held 8/3 - 8/5. Disappointing. So today for the first time I saw what were without a doubt yakuza. Walking back from Sangenjaya to my place, over halfway back, there were about 5 of them, pushing a guy into a cab. Apparently the rainy season is starting... unfortunate. Even if it was a bit hot, I was enjoying the sunny weather. Now it's going to rain for the next month or so, according to the landlady here.

So I woke up at 7:40 when I need to leave between 8 (now) and 8:10... I *hate* not having time for my morning routine, it just messes me up for the rest of the day. Bah. >_

I saw this kind of layout on someone's journal the other day and just had to have it. This color scheme I made is mostly shades of grey so it can't look too bad I figure, unless you don't like grey. I've still got more customizations I want to do to it, and I might change everything but the entries themselves to Japanese just to be annoying. =P ( Read more... )

Wow that place's ramen is good... even if a bowl of miso ramen and the little free side of rice costs 750 yen, twice what I normally pay for lunch, I couldn't help myself.
