Have just been to see Twilight film with little girl...

Movie is either not as bad as the books, or reports have been greatly exaggerated.

EVERYONE IN FILM IS ASSHOLE. STOP. SEND BRAINBLEACH. STOP.

A little of column A and a little of column B, I think. Yes, the scriptwriter does clean up a lot of the egregrious antifeminist stuff and of course the purple prose doesn't translate, but at the same time it's fashionable to rag on Twilight and a lot of SF/Fantasy and comics fan hate it on general principles without ever cracking the covers. (Me, I like to point and laugh.)

And yes, everybody in it is an arsehole.
