A little over a month ago, I chopped most of my hair off. It's now .5-1" long in back, bangs in front. This was spurred by a nasty 36hrs in the Greyhound bus system (hard to sleep with hair pinned back with sticks) and the idea that "huurrrrr, I no longer model, it doesn't matter if I'm ugly nao!".
It was a mistake.
I feel, for lack of a better word

This Korean manufacturer is very good quality, with most of the fibres being heat-resistant so you can style them if you want. Shipping is EMS.

When I cut my long long hair, I cut it to the middle of the back, then to the shoulders, then I wore a bob for quite a while, and now I feel I have too much hair when it's more than 2-3 inches. ^^

Just a thought.

That and extensions are expensive and a pain to maintain. I don't have the OOMPH for that sort of money/energy commitment.

I think you look gorgeous! You look very feminine and very polished with this hair. Plus your features, dear. You're never gonna look butch... ever.
That said... I'm sure it's quite an adustment and if you don't like short hair well you don't like short hair.
I do recommend extensions. You should get in touch with someone from the Hair Police group. They have mobile folks or perhaps someone near you has trained with them. They do a three strand braid that is tied off with apholstery string. They can do them super tiny. Yes your hair might have to grow a lil bit for you to have even enough to braid to anchor an extension, but once it gets a little longer you could figure out how to have it blend. You could also get permed human hair, you wouldn't have to deal with blending tufts into smootheness. I could see those bangs with a big bush of curly hair behind. Talk about volume through the crown to accentuate your lovely features!
Good luck. You look adorable.

My hair is maybe 2" long in the back now- is that long enough for extensions? I don't think I have the money for such things currently*, but I have been enamoured with dreadlocks for ages- maybe I could get those sort of extensions in the future. They tend to look tidier than real ones too.
*(just had to replacement everyday shoes, and while the new ones will last me 5-10 years, quality comes with a heftier up front cost. )

Is your hair long enough? Maybe. Depends on the skill of the person doing your extensions. It's true they aren't cheap. I wish I could afford some myself. Dreadlocks would be a great choice for dealing with the blending issue. Also, you could get synthetic hair (no use using human for dreads) and avoid the cost of human hair. Plus, loads of opportunity for fun colors without frying your own hair.
Good shoes are a must! I'm into the Massai Barefoot Technology shoes and they are EXpensive!
