Whoo-hoo!
Finally learning to drive. I'm *much* calmer at this now at 22 than when my mother harangued me into a permit at 17. No one/thing was injured in the last hour, there wasn't even any sort of close call :D It's a bit of a pity that Kory insisted on getting a manual transmission for our car ("they're more fun to drive!!" hurrr....), and as I'm not ( Read more... ) -
Hair
A little over a month ago, I chopped most of my hair off. It's now .5-1" long in back, bangs in front. This was spurred by a nasty 36hrs in the Greyhound bus system (hard to sleep with hair pinned back with sticks) and the idea that "huurrrrr, I no longer model, it doesn't matter if I'm ugly nao!".
It was a mistake.

1. The car thievery incident has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Due to the extent of the damage, our insurance company is going to write it off as totaled and cut us a check to the tune of approx. $5200. Somebody tried to steal our car last night. Our driveway was empty when looking out this morning-found the car 300 yards down the street with the hood popped, vital engine parts stolen, the CD player (and our case of burned CD copies) ripped out and gone. Jeeeeez, haven't posted here in a while. Not much out of the ordinary has happened anyway (it's all shoot/sleep/retouch/work at the bookstore 1 or 2 days a week/rinse-repeat). Hmm. Ok, here's three things of note-
