and because i have relationships backwards. they start out really intense, and practically a marriage, then taper off and slow down. it's kind of icky for boys who think they've got "the one".

Well, I've often heard that that's how relationships usually work. Like girls fall fast and hard, then they stand up again and start thinking logically, but right when they get up, the boys start falling and then they fall hard right when you are realizing it needs to end. That's what happened with Michael and with countless other relationships I've watched. But that doesn't make you a bad girlfriend; that makes you human. Don't feel bad for having the feelings you do.
