Saw Grindhouse today, it was really good. The first movie (Planet Terror) was much better then the second (Death Proof), but it was a fun time. I didn’t expect them both to be full length movies, but they were about an hour forty five each

Yeah, that's attributed to its flopping. Releasing it on Easter was a horrible move, but also people just don't get the point of the concept. I live in a world of philistines and morons, I really do. No one is experimental, no one wants anything new. They just want mediocre, fluffy, and recycled.

I had to leave as the first one was almost over, but I loved it. I'm seeing it again this weekend. There is nothing that makes me happy in quite the same way as watching people explode like hefty bags full of vegetable soup when hit with a machine gun.

I love these movies! Although I definately agree that Planet Terror was better than Death Proof. I had to try to explain the plot in italian to my Italian TA yesterday.... not so easy lol
