So Robert, Matt and I just watched "The Producers" -- the recent movie-made-from-a-musical one, not the one from the 60s. I'd never seen either and was looking forward to it

An excellent point! I will leave the "getting rid of possible girlfriends" problem to you. Once I learn if said problem even exists, or whether I'm interested in getting rid of her. :)

based on some films i've seen, you might be more interested in the girl.

actually, if he does have a girlfriend, you don't need to dispose of her. there might be someone else on whom her affections could be better spent.
