After  the Intensive Care Unit they sent us to Med/Surg for more tests. They wanted to make sure the infection had not reached Steve's heart.  They did an EKG, an echo cardiogram and an esophageal ultra sound. All came back good ( Read more... )

Long story short: Please vote "No" on prop 9. It will cost Stevie his job.

Longer story:  Prop 9, wrongly named "victims right's" would take away the right of a person to have an attonery present  at a hearing that could cost them years of their life, and my husband is one of those attonerys. It would cost the state millions, and not really help us ( Read more... )

I've been doing a lot of thinking and reading and this elction has made me think.

I've offiically changed my political party.

I won't say from what to what because I hate reading other peoples political opinions on live journal.

But, I switched!

And that's all I have to say about that.

I had to share my victory.

I fixed the washing machine!!!

All by myself, saving us like $400 bucks! Ah, the joys of being a home owner!!!

So as most of you probably know, we have bought a house up in Crestline.  Moving is SOOO much more difficult then I thought!  I'm glad that everything made it  out of the drivway and actually in the house now. It's a sea of boxes as far as the eye can see.

What a crazy day!

We didn't get the house we made an offer on, but we get to look for bigger one this weekend.
