i don't have a tattoo. i want to get one. i just need to choose something that has a meaning or significance to me

haha yeah, my aunt has a pretty large tattoo of TAZ on her thigh from about a decade or so ago. i still think that's pretty random of her.

but many bands are considered pop culture icons, so it's not ok to get a band tattoo. it's just as weird as getting some sort of spongebob tattoo. and even then, you can't just assume that everyone knows/considers Led Zepplin or the Beatles as legends. or even know who they are.

and A LOT of people don't know who Selena is, or even care for that matter.

i agree that bands are considered icons. but even if bands are no longer in existence, they are still around or listened to or it's kewl to listen to again. pop culture icons such as spongebob and beavis are pretty much fads.

Zeppelin, Beatles, and Selena were just examples.
