Yay, it's Wednesday! That means the weekend is 3 days away. 2 if you don't count today, which might work cause it's almost over. Well I just had a 4 day weekend, and I really really enjoyed it cause it had no classes. So, today was pretty interesting in a long way. OK, to start my day off, the fire alarm went off in our building at 8. Our classes start at 8:30 and I was pretty much ready, but I forgot to grab my umbrella as I went out. More about that later. Greetings from the Claude Moore Health Sciences library at UVA. We just had a library tour where we got to touch a book from the 15th century and looked at some other old stuff, and have a lecture in half an hour. Help.

My first weekend at UVA! It's been good so far. Hung out with a bunch of kids last night, went to the gym this morning, picked up some ugly ass water shoes for tubing tomorrow, watched Iron Chef, and cooked pasta with my suitemates. Virginia! I'm finally here in Charlottesville, home of Dave Matthews, at the U of VA doing SMDEP. Me and Anu flew in yesterday on quite possibly the world's two smallest planes ever, courtesy of U.S. Airways. We flew from Manchester to Philly on a packed school bus with wings, and then Philly to Charlottesville on a school bus with about 10 people ( Read more... )

I would just like to add that I wore my Red Sox hat in New York for one whole day while the Red Sox were in town and played against the Yankees.
