another summer almost gone

so here i sit in mah cherrrrr ("my chair" phonetically gangsta-rized), just got home from Schlitterbahn with mel, todd, and adam. it really is the hottest coolest time in texas, especially on disocunt days. all in all i've had a pretty good summer. a little funky, sorta wild, mostly full of work and thought provoking situations and people. so ( Read more... )

hey there are these books i read this summer-totally blew my mind and i believe in faith. Check out this author-Lee Strobel. He wrote "The Case for Faith" and "The Case for Christ." The Christ one was written first, but maybe you'll want to read the faith one first(if you try them). They talk about how it actually all CAN be true based on science, history, and lots of other stuff. (oh, and Lee was an atheist writing these) Just try it and see what you think. Maybe you'll discover something new and cool. i did. :)

i'll look into it. i believe in many things very strongly. i dont question the existance of something higher than the metaphysical, but i have a hard time putting my values and beliefs into faith. i feel blinded and very vulnerable and closeminded (i dont think that of those who have it, i just need to find my own way into i guess.) thanks for the recomended guidelines. i hope your summer is going wonderfully and that you love your new school!
