Rode my shiny new bike to work today. In the rain. I am so hardcore.

Ummm - have I told you I'm coming to BC for a month (june 24-july 25 or something) - will you be around? Can I come for a visit? I hear you've got a spiffy new house with some room for guests....would love to come out for a night or two if you're up for it.....

A whole month? WOW! Yes, we are definitely around and definitely up for a visit. The only weekend we're travelling in that month is July 22nd. Email me when you're ready to make plans and let's work out the details!

Ian loves it too - and he was also impressed with my determination to ride this morning....he said he wouldn't blame me if I drove....but I pressed on - and actually quite enjoyed it.....

Thanks! I count you among those who inspire me....I have a friend out here who rode across canada two summers ago and really hasn't stopped since (for which I tease her often) - but it's only 'cause she inspires me too!!

After one week of riding my ass is starting to forgive me - my thighs, not so much.....
