Jesus Christ I have a lot of work to do for next week, then a slight lull, then a lot more work. One thing that would be helpful in choosing University classes would be some kind of relative workload rating or something; I'm used to taking 2 work intensive classes and 2 relatively easy ones, and now I'm taking 4 pretty nasty ones. Well, I got my grade on the nastiest assignment I'll have this semester, and it's 87, which is fine with me considering what I had to work with (one of our group members did no work, so if one projected the grade with a fully functional fifth member, we probably would have had an 'a'). What the hell?

Mo died while we were on vacation. Through piecing together the evidence, I have come to the conclusion that apparently exterminators worked on our apartment even though the notice said they were only spraying outside areas. 2 difficult exams down, 2 easier ones to go, and I feel pretty good so far. Tomorrow I will be off to see the Rolling Stones in Arkansas of all places, and then to St. Thomas, with a brief interlude in Houston.

It rocks my fucking socks.

I just checked my email and I got an A on a stupid assignment we've been working on in one of my classes for the last month and a half which was worth 30% of our grade; woohoo! Depending on how my exam comes back in my 8am class I'll be headed for two As and two Bs, which is an improvement over 1 A and 3 Bs. Not bad for my second semester of ' ( Read more... )

It's kind of weird; my midterm performance this semester is somewhat opposite of what I experienced last semester. I have A grades on the essay portions and did not so well on the multiple choice. I'm not sure what this means. Probably that I understand now how they want me to write, but that I haven't been reading enough of the books to know ( Read more... )
