After a hard drive crash, screen fuckups, battery death, and apparent video module damage in the past couple of months, and now this, I give up. Well, my vacation ends tomorrow. Today I sailed around on a sailboat at sunset and got pretty drunk. I've done a lot of fun things including riding around on a jetski and enjoying a private boat charter that travelled to the cooler parts of the various Virgin Islands. Well, I think my Cuban Revolution midterm went well, but that was probably the first 'serious' essay type test I've taken in years, so I honestly don't know. I feel like made accurate assertions and had data to support them, but it's easy to second guess yourself once you're finished with a test like that. I think I'm dying. Not really, but out of the four goddamn colds I've had so far this year I have to say as of this evening this is the worst one yet. Couldn't have come at a better time, either.

One thing that really fascinates me is the human experience, consciousness, how other people experience life. Early psychologists were fascinated by the same thing, but the fire went out of that when they determined there's really no way to make a science out of it. The dvd player I ordered last summer finally got here, along with parts for an entire computer (monitor and all), and an airport extreme base station (I was tired of the piece of crap we had constantly disconnecting). I got Gran Turismo 4, the wheel for Gran Turismo 4, my replacement laptop hdd (a day late, sheesh), and the kit I need to try and recover the data from my old laptop. Things are looking up! Now if only Lauren wasn't still crippled I'd be set.
