The world is meeelllltiiiing! Good thing I got my rainboots yesterday. They're much better for handling mud than anything else I own. But I'm sure it will get all snowy and icy and cold again.

1. I dyed my hair purple, and it looks cool. It's not bright purple because I won't bleach my hair. Actually it looks darker now than my natural color. In the right light and/or at the right distance you can really tell. It said it will last up to six weeks. So I'm not actually writing anything about my birthday right now. I'm just posting so people can leave happy birthday comments if they feel like it.

I spent a bunch of it trying to clean the hair dye off the shower, but still good.

Wintercon was fantastic. I met a good number of very cool people. Funnily enough one of the best conversations came after the con was over, when I ended up at Starbucks with four other young women from the con and talking for about two hours before I went to the train station to meet Rachel before my train left for Worcester. I slept until 1 today. I hate that. I never EVER sleep that late. It's possible that I just really needed sleep and it won't effect how tired I am for the rest of the week, but... well, I don't know yet. I should have gone for the MFA in writing program at Bennington, because I hear it's really good, and gone to a normal college - MCLA would have been just about free... but now I'm not sure I'll want to come  back to school at Bennington so I can't.
