My hamstrings are incredibly sore right now. I started a new 4 week workout routine that I found in Fitness magazine on Sunday and it is seriously doing bodily damage of the good kind. I've modified it a little for myself but basically it's two days of light weight training, two days of a 20 minute circuit involving marching in place, jumping jacks ( Read more... ) -

Holy crap... I read 28 books last month. Admittedly some of them were from that YA week so it bumped my number up, but that's still a lot of books. Listening to audio books on my walks and during cleaning and other activities where I can't physically hold a book also helped ( Read more... ) -

What have I gotten myself into?
I started working on a new cross stitch pattern last night. It is the biggest project I have ever done at 24"x19". You can see what exactly I am sewing here. This is the first in a set of four I'm planning to finish eventually for Andrew. All of them are about the same size. YA Week
Well I finished my week of YA books. It was fun and rewarding. I reread a bunch of stuff that I loved from when I was younger. The definite standout was Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt.
