ok... so heres the deal...

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html --that is spybot search and destroy... that will help

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ --use firefox instead of internet explorer...

and lastly

http://www.slsknet.org/ --try soulseek instead of kazaa... kazaa is terrible for spyware and adware... slsk has no spyware... and you have a better selection...

hope that helped some!!!

Best pop-up blocker and very useful search bar is the google toolbar. It's great. Just go to their free downloads.

the only problem with that is that it puts spyware on your computer... so "google" or whomever can follow you everywhere you go online... and steal creditcard numbers and the like... *hits head* i really shouldnt know these things... at least... not waste my computer nerdness on theatre...hahaha... sorry... ill go now...

I don't have any spyware from it, but that wouldn't surprise me that it did that.

The Google Toolbar... is not spyware. Google is probably one of the most reputable companies on the internet.

You should know better than that Andie.
