The construction in my apartment is underway. We had to remove almost everything from the kitchen, including my dishes and all appliances. They took down the track lighting and put up new drywall on the ceiling, so now I don't have a big hole there anymore. I am back at my apartment now after six months of house sitting. It has been very busy at work and I’ve been in and out of the office a lot at courses and meetings. I have completed my annual requirement of corporate learning goals now and I am glad that is over with ( Read more... ) -

I find it a little ridiculous that my older and yet far less mature coworker took the effort to say a big conversational goodbye to the woman who sits in the cubicle behind her, which involves her getting up and peeking around the barrier, and completely ignored me, who sits across from her at a slight diagonal. So my manager decided that it would be "fun and different" for us all to take turns chairing our monthly team meetings.
