It's been a really long time since I've done this. I asked for prompts earlier today. And you guys, I wrote. It's not much. Just a little ficlet. But I wrote! Small steps.

Ugh.
Just went to the bank to deposit my paycheck, and found out we have had 4 fraudulent charges come through in the past 30 days on the business account we barely use. Good thing I checked the balance, or I'd still never know.
They were all for health supplements, all $50.35, and two were with one company, while two more were with another (supposedly ( Read more... ) -
Bullet points
~ The Equalizer was, as anticipated, pretty awesome. There were a few Hollywood-isms, but what movie doesn't have them? Especially an action movie.
~ If anyone else has seen the preview for the new Keanu Reeves movie that is really along the same lines, it looks equal parts action-awesome, and hilarious melodrama. Should be fun times.

Weekend update
Hanging out with some of my best friends this weekend, which is awesome. I've got them watching The Originals now. Re-watching the first few episodes of S1 was fairly interesting. For example, ( Spoilers for later in S1. ) -
Legend of Korra Season 4!!
I had NO idea it was coming so soon! October 3rd! And it looks like it is seriously going to be awesome.

Fall TV 2014
So, since I really want to get back involved in fannish things, I figure I better post what I actually watch, am interested in checking out, and *what I used to watch but might have waning interest in, meaning it still records, but I may or may not get to those episodes, and it may eventually be removed from the season pass list.

Update
Ok. So, I met with our contact at the virtual academy last night and had dinner. We talked about a couple of different options. They might be able to get me a professional license based on my "technical writing" skills, which would then give me the ability to work at an actual teaching job, while doing whatever Oregon wants to get me a continuing ( Read more... )
