*hugs* We are a pair aren't we? According to the docs (who go by BMI around here) my ideal weight is 124. Yeah, so not going to happen if I have anything to say about it.
One good thing about the bit of weight gain...I like my ass for the first time ever in my life.

I understand, man. First off, quitting smoking is beyond hard. I smoke (although not much, maybe five cigarettes a day, tops), and when I'm too broke to buy any, I do without. I start thinking, "What's the point of smoking? There isn't one really, and it doesn't bother you to go without", but then I buy a pack when I have money and the whole stupid cycle continues.
While I know I am beyond fat - in the Obese catagory, in fact (dang it, I've gained again and am back at 300. Grr!!) - somehow my mind doesn't picture me as big as I am. I know I have a gut and double chin and all, I don't picture myself as thin, yet I never realise for some reason how big I am until I look at a photo. For instance, this recent family photo. I wouldn't care about the poundage so much if it wasn't blocking the person next to me in the photo. Oh, to be 250 again, to have cheekbones and a firmer fat tummy, if that makes any sense to you:
