As the title says, it's been awhile.  I've got a bit to say.

My sister was sent home last week, seems she was doing really well.  Fastforward to this morning.  I got a call from my mother about an hour and a half ago.  She was on her way to pick up my stepfather and go to the hospital.  My sister is back in the hospital in critical condition and things don't look good.  I don't know any other details, but I' ( Read more... )

I got an email from my mom today asking me to please call her.  So I do.  It's not good news.  One of my older sisters (my stepdad's girls) is in the hospital.  She has leukemia.  They found it quickly and there is an 87% survival rate so I'm trying to be positive.  I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the news.  They've started (last night) ( Read more... )
