Got A Head-Cold....

Just what I didn't want and got anyway this week.

My throat is sore, my ears are stuffed up, I'm sneezing and coughing.

BUT I don't feel bad despite Hubby's having dragged me off to Turkey Run State Park for a long walk Friday. (It was a gorgeous day!)

Tis the season for it as well. I'm hoping I can hold out a few more days. We are getting our shots on the 17th.

My balance simply isn't that good any more thanks to my bad knee. Even though it finally healed, it still isn't 100% and I guess it never will be. I was amazed though that climbing all those stairs didn't leave me sick-tired but my energy actually came back after a rest and that's despite the head cold I've got.

The good news--I've lost another three pounds. The Qsymia medicine is continuing to work for me even after all this time (started mid-June). Nothing else has ever been so helpful!

That's great news!

I don't trust myself on steep stairs without holding on to the rail. Middle age can be treacherous.
