granny weather wax said it was important that each witch make her own hat. but in hat full of sky she did fashion one of air for tiffany aching..
I actually pulled out a pattern and cut out a jumper.
its in rayon and the perfect candidate for french seams or a serger. it is really drapey I tried to match the length of a shirt and still is very long tabard.. it will need pockets.
i found the cutting board when i was trying to put the quilt board away.

You gotta love a serger for finishing seams. I've always preferred the fake French seams myself--where you turn the raw edges in on themselves and then zigzag them together after you've sewn the seam.
A jumper will be wonderful for wearing this winter--what color is it?

I got lucky this summer and caught a gob of it at one of the local Goodwills. I need to dig it out and get busy sewing it up.
