This was the first truly decent rain we've had since the first week in AUGUST. Tomorrow, I'll finally begin spreading all the leaves I've been bringing home. I still haven't received a single bit of wood shreddings despite the power company's tree trimmer trucks working on our street.
I've called and asked them. I've also driven up to the workers and talked with them in person but no luck so far. I'd have stopped and talked with them again today but there was a bad wreck next to them so I thought it might not be a good time to bother them.

We still need more RAIN. We need snow this winter too. If we don't get them, we may wind up with an underground drought and that ain't a good thing.

That's us, too, although our wet season is just starting, so here's hoping it's a good one.

Oh wow, we haven't had rain in weeks here. It's so dry that there are daily fire hazard warnings :s
