The beauty parlor has always been a nice place to visit but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's been redecorated recently, so I spent a bit more time than usual looking around the room and ( Read more... )

"But one crazy person is all it takes to unleash an obscene amount of misery." Which was proved this weekend in New Orleans. You absolutely did the right thing.

No; you did the absolutely correct thing.

Boston; New York; Las Vegas; New Orleans....

And while it's my belief that anyone at any time might prove him- or herself an a**h***, in this instance I'm thinking of a different word or phrase to apply to the adult son. By comparison, AH is mild.

I think you were right, it's clear that she didn't know and once she did she saw your point and agreed with it.

I'd be nervous, even in such a safe place as I live, with razors left out, even without bad intent the possibility of accidents is there.

Kids---all it takes is just a few seconds for them to grab something when a parent isn't looking but, oh, how quick that same parent would be to blame my hair dresser for having left those razors out where the kid could get to them!

The American court system is just nuts when it comes to stuff like that. I've heard of judges that attached no blame whatsoever to the parents of wild, uncontrolled children but expected everyone else to "help babysit" and "lookout for" those little devils.
