I got through the surgery ok, was nauseous all Tuesday and called the dr to have him tell me to lie still, add ice and try a new acupressure spot to reduce it. More for the house mates peace of mind than mine, but it worked. Spent Friday shopping for groceries and other things for the house. Something ate my background.

So I'm back at Lisa's house and the surgery is done. I hurt and I'm nauseous. Hopefully it will get better. No matter, I came through with flying colors.

I just spent 20 minutes playing with a Toys R Us and HP Advertisement of a Tigger doll. Making him move forward and back and up and down and jump and stuff. I need help.

So I just got back from the doctor and it's official. I broke a bone on the top of my foot. I'm in this huge black boot thing for a couple of weeks and then they'll x-ray it again and take it from there. Yes, it hurts. At least it's easier to walk on this than on the splint that was on it before. No more crutches for me, I'll just be the slow ( Read more... )

Seems like laughing at others for being clumsy definitely comes back. I just didn't expect it to come back quite so soon. I fell down the stairs here at the house Friday night before going to Pokee's going away party. At that point, I hurt all over but really wanted to go hang out with friends I have not seen in ages. Anyone available Tuesday March 9th to take me to Seton for my surgery and to watch me that day? I seem to be unexpectedly short of a hand to hold.

Thanks to everyone that inquired after me, I'm doing much better today. The shots themselves... well let's leave it at they hurt like hell. I'm gaining flexibility though and other than general soreness in the muscles and the injection area, I'm doing well. My migraine was gone about 10 minutes after the injections, so that was a plus.
