[It's another normal day in your high school Mayfield.

However you may notice that an English teacher has been replaced with a short blonde Canadian. Which explains why there is a Canadian flag up next to the American one now.]

Pronouns. [She glances at the book as people walk in]

At least these can't change that much.

Interesting thoughts.

However I do have to wonder. If someone is immortal. How is it possible to kill them?

It's resurrective immortality. If you die, you instantly regenerate.

[And here is Ed, sitting in the back of class leaning back in his chair idly, until, hey, new Teach. And pays attention at the mention of ethics, and sets to writing about the right to live and how extensive his definition of human is. Basically, he disagrees with ever killing, and has a pretty wide definition of human considering he still believes his brother is despite him being a soul bound to a suit of armor. Yeah. It's. Pretty long. Good luck marking it, Teach.]

[Leans back in his chair again, pen in his mouth.]

Yeah, well. I've been in plenty fights and never resorted, never desperate enough to kill. There's always another way. Maybe it's just naive, my ego, but...as long as I can, I'll do whatever it takes to keep it that way and protect my family and friends.

I see.

[Moves a chair and sits down in it.]

What would be your definition of killing someone?

[Kay hands in an essay about the limitations of the modern legal system, and how it is sometimes necessary to step outside the bounds of what society considers legal in order to convict particularly slippery criminals. There is an extensive section on how troublesome diplomatic immunity can be if a foreign ambassador were to commit murder in his country's embassy while visiting a foreign nation.]

[Gokudera's paper is a well worded one on organized crime, the good and the evil sides of it. How one can be considered a crime lord and yet still provide for their small town, and even their country in some ways. How some bosses can be megalomaniac and the others can be beneficial men. He cites his time spent growing up in Italy as a source, and the word "Vongola" comes up numerous times.]
