I did specify local friends. You guys definitely count, but with me spending so much time in the car or in places where I can't type (like backstage), I can't really keep up my half of the correspondence. And by the time I'm home again, most of the time I just don't have the mental energy to sit at the computer and write. And that's my half of the friendships that has the failing, not yours. But sometimes you just need to see a face, to get out of the house and go DO something with people, you know? And as great as you guys are, you can't really help with that on a regular basis. So I need local friends too.

We're still near DC -- just moved 20 minutes down the road from where we were. The main goal was to get me out of a living situation that was making me miserable. Sadly, as messed up as everything feels now, it is still an improvement. I just have to keep reminding myself of that.

It's about a four hour drive, one way. I've done it as a day trip, but it was pretty exhausting. For April, I'd have to know exacts -- I've got a show running April 10 through May 4, and it's paying less than I'm used to so I'll probably be picking up some daytime work as well. I also don't yet know what my rehearsal times will be before the show opens.. it's a very complicated spring for me.
