So today I found fifty dollars in my wallet that wasn't there two days ago. Matter of fact, I haven't had a fifty in my wallet since I've been here I don't think. Last week I exchanged the last of my US money for Aussie dollars and I got back three 20s and some small bills. Last night (tuesday) was our small group night. We decided to go into the city to McDonalds and Julie (our leader) treated us to ice cream or cookies or whatever little snack we wanted. A little update of GOd's amazing provision. It's not provision for me, but it gives me tremendous hope that all will be provided for. Each quarter each school on base has a Faith Gift project. We each have certain items that are needed for the base and the amount of money that it will take to get these items. Our project was more tables and new ( Read more... )

Friday was repentance and forgiveness application day. We have been studying repentance and forgiveness this past week and Friday was the final part. We (the DTS) entered out classroom at 8:30am Friday and we didn't leave until 5:40am Saturday. At that point I had been awake for 24 hours because we have to get up for morning exercises at 5:45am. So last night after the friday night meeting here at YWAM Perth a group of us from the different schools when downtown into Northbridge, which is pretty much club central for Perth. So I'm here. The other side of the world. The toilets flush straight down, sorry to disappoint, no opposite swirling of the water. I haven't seen any koalas or kangaroos yet, but hopefully soon.
