retirement work
Worked out in the yard for an hour this morning. Cut some more branches and whacked down some blackberry bushes. Found an intact fish tank in the lot next door. Housing fix, guys, etc.
On October 27th, 2010 I am having a Tough Shed tall cabin (prefab) put up in my daughter Beverly's backyard. Right now I am living at her house in a small room that will be Tristan's. I am happy to have the room, the privacy, my tv & remote and my books and media collections and shelves of stuff all crammed into the room. Lucky I like a nest, ( Read more... ) -
Summer of fun
I'm at Shirley's now and it happens to be Michael Box' birthday, July 22,2010. Today Shirley showed me how to make new folders for my pictures, so I have been making dozens of folders and sorting my pictures. My most recent camera download had 333 pictures from several states. Piano moving
Things have changed daily in recent weeks. It seems that I am going to get the baby grand piano and store it in Beaver Dams. I may wind up using it as a planter someday or even a fabulous headboard, but I'm going to try to restore it someday, but we'll see. Last weekend I went with my niece Susan to visit her friend Joanne's son Jack who grew up with her children. He is on a nuclear sub and he operates it. He's a bright guy. He also has a sports car he is making even faster. He's a super-tech and mechanical, a lot like my brother Todd. His wife Alexi is a good match for him. She's going to ( Read more... ) -

I was working at the CMOG, Corning Museum of Glass, but I left after a month. My supv. treated like a 6 year-old shouldn't be treated, so I said, "buh bye". She would tell me I can't talk back to her when I was just trying to explain. Not allowed to have my own point of view or get more info.
