thank you for adding me back. and the comment =) same here, i go through periods of wanting to do them and not, but lately it's been more often not =/. and i realy don't like performing, i freeze up at the thought >_
i went to see my piano teacher yesterday to say i want to quit the lessons, and she was like "are you sure?" and said i'd improved so much and that i should do the exams, but that it's my decision. so i dunno what to do now, cos i feel a bit guilty seen as i told her a few weeks ago that i'd do the exams :/
i hate that, they always do that to me too, say something that makes me hesitate. Hmm, well if you do the exams then you'll have something to show for all the time you spent, right? Then again, if you're only doing piano to have something to show, then aren't you doing it for the wrong reason? But if you're not going to pursue it, then there's no point stressing yourself out over the exams. grr confusing =/. personally I would probably do the exams both to test myself and to be able to show how far i'd gone. and to prove to myself that i can do them since i would feel like i was running away if i didn't, but i'm just weird like that =P hope you work it out soon
