As much as it's my job to be a smart-ass with you whenever possible, all I can say to this is that it's beautiful.

players only love you when they're playing

I think you're a little biased, brother mine, but I'll take it anyway. Thank you. I should look to see how many of my posts came at this time of night; I bet it's a lot of them.

when the rain washes you clean you'll know

I was thinking about commenting you just last night with a WHERE ARE YOU? Nice post. That's one of the things I hate the most is waking up from a pleasant dream and not being able to return to it.

Thank you for the compliment and for thinking of me. Maybe I felt it and that was the fifth spur. Are you still around LA? I think I owe you some beers. More importantly, I'd like a backrub ;)

I'm back in London. Yes, you do owe me some pints for disappearing for so long. Backrub, though? You'll have to earn it.

Wait, what? I wasn't even gone for three weeks! You've been gone longer.

I already did earn it. I worked very hard for it, in fact.

That icon of yours is the perfect example of giving someone the hairy eyeball.

I wish that dreams and reality could be less of an opposite. Sometimes I'd just prefer to stay asleep.
Like your blood knows the way
From you heart to your brain
Know that you're whole

Exactly. Except when I have nightmares, they're pretty. Um, pretty bad, I meant to type. I'm leaving that typo in, pretty {period}, because clearly it shows that I was distracted by your icon. See keywords.

I didn't know you were a Hedwig fan, Halle. I'm very impressed.

and you're spinning
like a 45 ballerina
dancing to your rock and roll

I like vague and mysterious. Even though it's weird that Gio is referring to himself in the third person. Hugh doesn't like that.

I love reoccuring dreams. I just wish I had ones that weren't nightmares. I have this one where I'm being chased through a meat factory by a man who's trying to gut me like the poor cows. I have it once every couple of months.

I'll try to work more of it in, just for you. Hugh likes almost everything Gio does, he just needs a little time to get used to it.

Gah! I have ones about being chased by the mob or the CIA, but yours sounds far worse.

Even though Hugh doesn't want to admit it, he thinks Gio just might be on to something. Sometimes it takes Hugh a small amount of time to get used to new things. (Hugh wants to tell you that he thinks this is mental, but very amusing. :-D)

Getting chased by the CIA would be fun, I would think. Of course, you never know if you're eating dinner with a new girlfriend or if she's a pawn in the CIA's mastermind plot.

Gio is usually on to something, that's what Hugh doesn't want to admit. Gio excels at mental.

It's not when they have huge long guns with silencers and are going to keel you. I knew there was a reason I don't trust women much anymore.

You sound like a very lucid dreamer like myself. I have an aunt who has perfected the art of stopping her dream and rewinding or fastforwarding to an instance she more prefers.

I've been working on lucid dreaming, yeah. Once in a while when the mob is after me (see comment to Hugh above) I can deflect their bullets, or remember that I have the ability to throw fireballs or something. As far as rewinding or fastforwarding... wow! That would be so great to be able to do.

I've died multiple times in dreams and in many different ways so the idea really doesn't bother me anymore because I'm basically like Super Mario when I sleep. Do you fly? I fly often, but not recently.

Gah!! I've never died in my dreams. I flew more when I was younger but I still do sometimes. I usually have to flap and concentrate and work really hard on it, both physically and mentally, and it's usually hard to get higher than two story rooftops. And I'm usually trying to evade someone who's trying to kill me. I wonder if I've been doing too many of the wrong kinds of movies?
