With ina's help yesterday I am now in the possession of a plane ticket! I will leave here on October 31st and come back on January 1st (I will welcome the new year on board a plane). This would never, ever have been possible without the help of you guys. I still feel like this can't possibly be reality, surely this many good things can't be happening

As for the appartement...
Maybe a major spring cleaning (in spite of the fact we're in october XD), like washing all the windows, the bathroom (for me it's the most important, if the bathroom isn't immaculate, i'd never rent the place), the fridge...
On the overall, i think tidiness and cleanliness is the main point. Also, open the windows to refresh the place, i don't know cause i never had any bunny, but maybe they let a "small". And put them in their cage before the girl arrives ^^

YES! 17 days! I made myself a little sheet with 18 boxes on it, so that I can cross off a box every day! *beams*

My main worry really is the bunnies. They don't really smell bad, but you *can* smell them, especially the hay. And my bunnies don't have a cage, they run free, they just have a litterbox. But they only use that to pee in, their droppings are usually all over the place (which I don't mind, as they don't smell and are dry, vacuuming takes care of them). I wrote that in the ad, but I wonder if the girl coming to see the apartment fully realizes this.

I'll spend the weekend scrubbing the place, especially the bathroom and the kitchen! I'm just wondering whether I should lock away anything. I'll store my external harddrives at a friend's place, I just don't know... should I do the same with my printer? Or anything else? How distrustful should I be, is what I'm wondering, I guess. ^_^;

Maybe she had bunnies herself? I probably wouldn't answer an ad for an appartment if I had to care for the pets there, most of all since I never had any and would shy away from the responsibility to care for someone else's pets. So she might be used to bunnies (or at least other pets)?

Turns out she did have a bunny, but it lived in a cage and wasn't allowed to roam free, so she was kind of unprepared for the smattering of bunny droppings that you can find in my apartment at all times.

In the meantime another guy has been by as well to look at the apartment, but he also didn't seem too thrilled with the bunnies.

They haven't said "no" yet, so maybe there still is hope. But even if they decide against staying here, with the gifts and loans from my friends I will be able to afford the trip anyway! *happy*
