When you get to my age (twenty-one and then some) you start thinking about things in your life that you could have done better. Or things that you could have done, but didn't. Or things that you could have bought when you still had money to buy them. I'd say regrets, but it's such a 'woe-is-me' word and I don't really empathise with 'woe-is-anybody
