I wionder if Rutgers will ever get a bowl bid. I went to last weeks game and had a fun time but they lost to USF and this week to Louisville.

Today was a long day. I am very tired.

I have been watching the scenes out of New Orleans and the Gulf area all week. It is terrible. I have been to New Orleans a couple of times and cannot believe it is pretty much gone. There is not much left and all those poor people. I hope all of us can help.

I may be getting spoiled by air conditioning but I played sioftball today and felt like I was on the surface of the sun. I got one hit, a home run but I sucked in the field, my arm needs work. I drank three liters of water in an hour and a half and I still lost 4 pounds and pissed yellow. I must get out more. The three sourses are killing free ( Read more... )

I had a great weekend. I went to New York with Sharon, we went to the Met and dinner at a nice place in the village. I like her more and more. I helped the folks with stuff. I worked on the house and had a good week. I figured updating this beat not sleeping and just lying there.

I worked at my summer job today. It was an uneventful day. I went by the store for something on the way home and saw the most beautiful woman ever. I usually never get tongue tied around anyone but I must have sounded like a moron when I talked to her. Somehow I asked her for her number and she gave it to me. Well, the last few months have been good. I just finished the year at my teaching job. I got As in my courses and I am looking forward to a great summer. I have a good job for the vacation at a SAT prep center. My students were great yesterday, I was touched by a nice present from a student who graduated. I'll miss them. I am very sad. I just received news that my Uncle Dennis is dying. He lives in Ireland and I saw him only a couple of months ago. He has Alzheimer's and did not remember me, but he was so nice, it was sad but he always was a nice man. I remember as a kid he always was a sweet man who treated everyone great. I am a fool. I ignored the bad tooth I had last summer now I have to not only lose that tooth but some of my jaw. Thank God all my other teeth are healthy. I have to get it out in a couple of weeks, I am on antibiotics to get rid of the infection first. I have to write two 10 page papers this wekend too. I missed Friday at work. It is my own
