Ah, yes. Frugality is going well. Over the weekend I spent just £10: I bought picnic food and a newspaper. Today I barely spent anything at all: I skipped coffee, booked a holiday in Hong Kong, and saved yet more money with a nice and cheap egg and tomato sandwich from Pret. At this rate I'll be rolling in money by the end of the month

I did even better. So far as I recall, on Friday night I didn't spend a single penny. I must find and thank whoever it was that bought me that bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a Whopper to eat on the train.

In retrospect, that seems very poor recompense. Oh well.
