My host parents are going on a two week vacation to the Czech, Republic and Israel this week and it makes me really upset. Why do they have to leave me when it's almost the end of my stay in China? Now I have to return to my old house and live there for two weeks...gah!

Beijing is presently experiencing one of the most sever Dust Storms of the decade. Two days ago I walked outside and nearly lost it when I saw every car in the parking lot (along with everything else outside covered in a thick layer of dust.
