If the McCain who gave the concession speech had run his presidential campaign, I think we could have had the high-minded campaign everyone was hoping for, and I might have even not been enormously dismayed if he had won.

Instead, we got the McCain who produced the crowd at his concession speech.

I knew from the lecture I saw at DEFCON that you could do all kinds of suspect things to electronic voting machines and there is very little way to prove something happened. Being a naive optimist, frequently enough, I assumed this wouldn't be much of an issue for me. (After all, at the time, I was planning to absentee-vote in MA...)
