Fumi, my Japanese suitmate, was watching Independence Day in Japanese. Hopefully he didn't think it was a historical flim...because those visual effects are amazing. There has to be some form of irony there. Plus, I don't think Will Smith's black jokes work as well in Japanese ( Read more... )
