So, thanks to miints, I have decided to make an icon tutorial. This may be the first of many, depending on how it goes over. So...yeah. I made a few corrections and improvements to the first one that I designed so...here we go.

D'oh! Never mind, I see where it says Photoshop. That'll teach me to read more carefully! teehee! It translates to PSP8 though, incase you're wondering! :)

(and I was just wondering, while we are on tutorial topics, would you happen to know how to change the colour of the entries bg? I can't seem to figure that out, I've tried mady override sites and all...) x3

Have you tried changing the colors in the Weak, Strong, and Stronger Accent boxes that LJ provides? I'm not sure if that will work or not...it might depend on the exact coding that you're using.

lol. No, I do that ALL the time. And then, after 30 minutes of trying to figure out what's wrong, I realize I just have to change one of those boxes. It never fails. ;)

oooo this is a really cool tutorial! im going to save this in my memories! i have a question though - what is that brush is is on top the kinda dotty one?

Ya know, it's so subtle I'd forgotten I even used that brush in this icon. lol. Let me sift through my brushes and I'll get back to you ASAP on whose it is (and add that to the tutorial). :)
