Just started playing Spore, it's a really fun game, quite addictive - it's even keeping me away from Warhammer Online

Background

So, the Park Avenue Country Club got closed down a year or more ago.  A few people I know and myself were definitely considered regulars at that establishment, so I was waiting eagerly to see what they planned to do with it.

In pops Primehouse, the second B R Guest restaurant (Dos Caminos, Blue Water Grill, Ruby Foo'd etc.) on the block.

Meh, so I finally got bored of World of Warcraft.  3 max level characters (hunter, paladin and priest) and 4 more over half way there later I've decided I'm pretty much done with it - at least until the next expansion.

Awesome night.  Jess and I dragged ourselves across the Williamsburg bridge and up the G line to Greenpoint to see the Wildhearts for my second time, Jess' first.

The venue was surprisingly good, we camped out in a section up a flight of stairs with seating and it's own bar while the majority of the crowd stood in line for their beers on the main ( Read more... )
