Yes I am back after a 6 month (?) hiatus on my LiveJournal because I tried writing it all out but realized that you can use backspace on your journal and striking things out merely highlights the fact that you wrote it down to begin with. I guess 6 months of keeping my thoughts to myself was too much to bear and I'm back

also, i find writing most pleasurable when you please no one but yourself. don't know if that breaks one of your many rules though.

haha i see that, but if you read the lines at face-value, i'm merely stating the intellectualism present within your posts that are lacking in mine, which makes your blog such a joy to read.

on the contrary, i think writing is most pleasurable when you please yourself. that's why there is point 3. Honestly? you blog because you feel like it and not for anyone else. point 2.2 is crap. just saying.

hmm can never tell when you're being sarcastic ...
what i said has a qualifier, namely 'no one but yourself'. not that one deliberately goes out to offend other people (because that still contravenes the principle). other people should never be in the picture at all, that frame of mind when writing. regardless of whether it's to be praised or insulted. if the praise/insult happens, it's a by-product of self-expression.

then you can call in the doctrine of double-effect and be a douche
