You know those springy door-stopper things that attach to the wall? My two elderly kitties have discovered that if you swipe one with your paw, it makes a very satisfying "booooinnng!" sound that is cause for leaping back and racing around wildly . . . then doing it all over again

Hee- thanks! I'm glad you liked it! I hear beagles are smart but stubborn, and because they're scent hounds they can never be off leash outdoors -- they follow their noses, and you'd never get 'em back. I figure Darwin's on the dumb side, but he's so cute that it doesn't matter. ;) (Have I told you lately how much I adore the Darwin icon you made, by the way?)

My two puppies discovered those a while ago. They like to ping pong between all the ones in the house. We learned to grin & bear it because their alternative is chewing on the floor mouldings.

Awww! What kind of puppies do you have? I long for a dog, but my current living situation (combination of my landlord and the hours I keep because of work) make it impossible. I live vicariously through dog-owning friends, and Darwin, my virtual beagle. :)

I didn't get the email! *woeface* That's okay; any praise this weekend would just convince me to forget nursing and pursue the life of a starving artist because REALLY I do NOT get how I'm supposed to remember all the muscles of the forearm.

My sister and I have two Japanese Chin- Shitzhu crosses named Maki and Sashi. They're now a year and a bit old and OH so good at eating books and decorative pillows. *forced grin* They apologize very prettily, however, with the fluffy-tail-wagging and the big-buggy-eye-staring and the cuddling-while-TV-watching that we forget how angry we were just five minutes ago.
