As time goes by, i think the importance of self-love becomes more and more important, more so for a (might be a slightly older?) single person like me. It is a very easy thing to slip into a cycle work and frustration that ends up in self loathing.

I have come to realise that the feeling of "home" does not necessarily is tied to a place or location. In a broader context it could also be someone. I don't know if it is the same as anyone else, but for me, I've had an anchor before which made me feel comfortable, safe and well basically "home". Working (or not) from home
So it's been close to 3 months where I've been asked to work from home. Some people had been at it longer than me because I work in an "essential services" sector company. So i still work at the office on and off.. But now that more emphasis was made to reduce the number of people at the office, we're permanently working from home now.. To be frank ( Read more... ) -
Where am i?
I've noticed that more and more now, i am living in and spending more time in the virtual world in my head than in reality.. In a way, i am concerned because lately, when i am out of that virtual world, i am at a loss and don't know what to do with myself. This is probably a modern problem.. Shocking self realization
Now here's a shocking self realization..
I don't see myself getting old or maybe get to see old age..
Don't get me wrong, i hope that i will. But at this point in my life, i don't see a reason to. I don't know if I'm depressed or anything. I don't think i am. I am perfectly fine doing the things that i do. I just don't see anything else beyond that.

My nephew
I'm sad.
My nephew just quietly cried himself to sleep because he's sad that my sister and parents are heading back to Johor. I remember i did the same when i was younger, so i know the feeling.
Somehow i feel that my nephew takes on a bit of my mannerisms and behaviour. I hope not the bad ones tho. But i think i understand how he processes things ( Read more... ) -
