It's been a pretty busy week.

Flush with the success of passing my driving test two weeks ago (did I mention that..? I can't remember...), I went out on a pass plus course last Wednesday. This took me out to the M25, then round and up the A1(M) to Bedford, followed by a cross country route to Milton Keynes, down to Hemel Hempstead, and then back on ( Read more... )

Today, the automatic update tracker on the Dell website tells me the delivery date of the laptop I ordered on boxing day, the laptop that's been twice delayed and that they promised me would arrive by Monday at the latest, has been put back by another week. As a result I've spent much of the morning seething with furious anger.

 Christmas has been awesome, frankly. I got a stack of gift, spent time with Kiku and some other very cool people, and took a lot of driving lessons. It's just a shame I'm now back at work.

Most of the presents I was lucky enough to receive were console games, of one sort or another. This has left me with the small problem that I'm playing about ( Read more... )

I had my driving theory test today... and I passed!

49/50 (98%) on the theory section
63/75 (84%) on the hazard perception section.

Not to shabby... even if I do say so myself.

I'm annoyed about that one question on the theory section, though.
