Urg? Not a popular show, it seems...there's nothing on its soundtrack out there and little enough about the show itself :/

Do you know any words to it? I could do a lyric search.

Just a line and a half of non-contiguous verse that I was able to scrape up... I already tried a lyric search and it was fruitless. :(

I know one of the guys who runs soundtrack.net. I've sent the question to him and we'll see if he knows anything.

Tim Truman might be the composer chishibuki May 24 2006, 14:16:48 UTC
I don't remember this show, but googling for:

"central park west" theme music

Turns up the following:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111914/awards

Which naturally enough leads to:

http://www.timtruman.com/

Which has a link to the theme, which might be sans-singer (often enough they'll have multiple versions of a piece, and the one this composer chooses to highlight a decade later might be instrumental only). I haven't listened to that sound file (I'm at work). This still doesn't tell us who the singer was, but it's a start. If more googling doesn't turn up anything, you may end up needing to post something on a music or TV show fan forum somewhere online, or email this composer dude, or maybe even email/snail-mail CBS and/or Darren Star Productions (whoever the heck they are).
