You can apparently sterilize bottles that way, too. I'm assuming it's because of the extremely hot/boiling water dishwashers use.

I'm the dishwasher on alternate days,lol as we work on a rota basis.

I told ya I was in a weird mood......

Washing them then dishwashing them is too time consuming. I washed mine, and then whacked it in the microwaveble sterlising container for 5 mins. Start to finish 15-20 mins.

We stopped sterilizing Ryan's bottles/teats about 2 months ago....they all go in the dishwasher now...
