Today I learned that the researcher in the article I've been reading is my soc. professor. AND today we talked about her research AND how she found a murderer (by accident) while doing this!

anyway, my soc class is awesome. all my classes are awesome lately

my mom came to visit me
we went to iowa city and she bought me food at the co-op and now i miss her

I'm going back home Saturday for fall break.
who will be around???

kristen, jess and I went on a roadtrip to meet up with kristen's friends. We set out on highway 6 in Kristen's jetta and stopped in one of the Amana colonies ("utopia towns" built by german settlers a long time ago). Eastern Iowa is beautiful and getting away from Grinnell was just what I needed.

tonight i swam and then ran all the way to the bay. I walked out on the dock and watched the ocean and decided the rest of my life needs to be near it.
