Kota placed a warm cup of tea in front of Tegoshi. He accepted it and took a sip. All the Seven Juniors gathered around the table to hear Tegoshi's story.
"So, what exactly happened?" Shoon leaned in, curious to hear.
Tegoshi looked up and started.
"Well, you see, it all started when I was 14. My father died of the plague in my hometown, so my mother remarried this jerk of a king named Nishikido Ryo who rules this kingdom and is extremely vain, just for his money. I got mad at her and never forgave what she done. But when I was 15, she left the house without stating her reason so I was left in Ryo's care. Ever since then he made me into his servant so I had to every little thing he asked me to do. It was frustrating. Everyday was so painful!"
Tegoshi sniffled, trying to hold back his tears, but then his expression turned calm and warm.
"But then, after 3 years of depression, I met him..."
"Who's 'him'?" Yuri interjected but Hiromitsu elbowed him.
"Shh! Let him continue!" He scolded.
Tegoshi continued.
"Recently I met the most handsome man in the world, Prince Tomohisa. He's a transfer student in my class. After school he saved me from falling out of a tree, and I fell deeply in love with him. But then, Ryo punished me for getting home late and made me do his laundry at the river. And while I was doing the laundry, I dropped one of the sheets into the river and Tomohisa found it for me. After that he helped with the laundry which made me so happy and I kept falling for him!"
Tegoshi blushed in happiness and his face turned into fear.
"Later, when I was going home, Ryo's sidekick, Tatsuya-san, told me to follow him into the woods. When we got there, it was all dark so I couldn't see except for the lantern Tatsuya-san had illuminating our path. And at that moment, he raised his dagger to kill me but a few seconds later, he dropped it and told me to run away. A few hours later I got tired from running and fainted, which led me to this very moment."
Tegoshi looked at the Seven Juniors' faces. They were in complete shock.
"Y-You lived with...Nishikido Ryo...?" Koichi stuttered.
Tegoshi nodded slowly. "What about it? Do you know him?"
"Kind of..." Fumito started.
Tegoshi cocked his head to the side. "Eh?"
"Actually..." Taisuke continued. "We used to live in that castle..."
"W-What...?" Tegoshi replied in shock.
Kota looked at Tegoshi. "Like Taisuke said, we used to live in that castle, until Ryo took over the kingdom." Kota's fists balled up tightly in frustration.
"It all started about the same time when your father died, Yuya-san, 4 years ago. We used to live peacefully in that castle until one day, Ryo barged in with some other men, who was possibly his army, and told us to get out immeadiately. Even though we refused, he threatened to kill each and every one of us, one by one in the most gruesome ways we could think of. We were scared so we decided to flee into this patch of woods. After a few days of getting kicked out, we found this cottage and decided to stay here, hoping someday that we will get back what was originally ours."
"Have you ever tried to get him back?" Tegoshi asked.
"We've planned revenge numerous times, but they all failed." Yuri replied.
"Then, maybe I can help you! Although I may not have a plan right now, I know we will be able to figure something out! And someday, I'll punish that man and return your property! Just believe in me, 'kay?" Tegoshi replied confidently.
The Seven Juniors now felt reassured and were breaking into smiles.
Kota bowed in respect. "Thank you very much, Yuya-san."
Yet again, I'M SORRY I DIDN'T POST YESTERDAY!!
Last night I went to Red Bank (town in southern New Jersey) to see a firework display with my mom and her high school friend. It ended around 10 and there was extreme traffic because of the people blocking the streets. Thousands were there and we could hardly move! My mom and I didn't get back home 'till 1 in the morning! That really sucked 'cause I was so tired and cranky. >_<;;
But now, I feel a bit better after sleeping, but I'm slightly dizzy~ -_-;;
ANYWAY...
Even though he was a minor character in this story...
